  • Oversee the unloading and distribution of raw materials to every unit within the site. Perform railcar, tanker trailer, and vessel-to-vessel transfers to keep up with polymer production across the site.
  • Keep constant contact with all unit operations to schedule and predict raw material needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as pumps, flow controllers, level transmitters, and process safety valves to limit downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Decontaminate and properly LOTO any equipment needing maintenance performed. Abide by all plant policies while ensuring zero energy before disconnecting equipment.
  • Permit maintenance personnel, and review proper LOTO isolation and zero energy verification points, as well as area-specific hazards and emergency protocol.
  • Carry out emergency equipment checks. Such as fire suppression systems, SCBA tank levels, and spill containment equipment in the area.
