- I completed an 8 week, extensive industry and sales training program at Keyence's corporate HQ in Chicago, learning from the companies directors, leading sales representatives, and technical training team.
- Keyence is a B2B company, I have managed my territory for almost a year now, managing and growing existing accounts while also prospecting and generating new business. I am responsible for scheduling 15-18 in person meetings per week and spend 3 days of the week on the road demonstrating our products to customers or supporting our products used by customers.
- I have been able to work with a variety of different industries such as Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Food & Packaging, etc. at some of the worlds leading names in these markets. Also selling and working alongside engineers, maintenance managers, safety coordinators, and other positions at these companies.
- Since overseeing my territory I have generated over half a million dollars in revenue
- As a technical sales intern with Keyence, I helped cold call and generate leads for sales representatives, generating over 40 business opportunities for the company during the internships 5 weeks
- I also shadowed current sales reps in different offices nationwide while they visited customers and assisted with product demonstrations
- I was offered a full time position by Keyence after completing the internship program
- My responsibilities in this job where to help lease over 1,000 bedroom spaces
- My day to day included contacting prospective residents, providing tours of the properties amenities and available units, and finding/following up with leads
- I also assisted with marketing campaigns, communication between vendors and current residents.
