I served the IDD/ Behavioral population where many of them lived in Group and Crisis Homes. Many were long term as well as short term transitions to host homes or back with their families. As a DSP I assisted with their Mental and Physical care. We assisted with their everyday living activities as well as bathing and toileting protocols.

I assisted the LCSW with conducting Group sessions for Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Adult Behavioral Self Control. I also assisted with the Drug Court Program for Richmond, Columbia, and Burke Counties. This program was sanctioned by the state of Georgia. I as the assistant did all the group sessions where as the LCSW would conduct all individual sessions.
