  • At Mastec Inc. we worked as Customer Outreach Specialist for the FPL residential electrical system underground conversion program. Our role and main objective was to contact homeowners to inform them of the program, evaluate whether their property could be converted and obtain their approval in order to convert it and install some of the equipments necessary for the execution of the program.
  • Verify the project plans to identify the area and properties to be worked on, validating through the property appraiser the status of the property and its owners.
  • Contact the owner to make an appointment and explain the underground conversion program.
  • Feed the Outreach database with all interactions with the owner and/or tenant, visit the property to evaluate the possibility of conversion by making a physical survey of it, indicating on the plans the route for the wiring and important points such as construction, city, or tree obstructions.
  • Create and maintain an updated book of physical documentation for each property, containing the status of the property, the approval document signed by the owner, and the notarized document with the approval for the installation of equipment (50 kW-100 kW transformers).
  • Finally, conduct a project walk-through with engineering and construction departments, as well as external contractors to validate all information has been collected and updated in the plans.
  • Generate a final report to be submitted to permitting, engineering, and construction departments, as well as Mastec's contractors and FPL authorities.
  • Take care of assigned vehicle, and maintain all OSHA standards within our work area and during driving.
  • Extensive use of Power Point, Fulcrum App, Adobe acrobat and Excel to generate tables and graphs shown in our weekly report on project progress, data analysis, and proposals for improvement points.

  • In our role for this company we ware in charge of Civil remodeling blocks, concrete and light construction panels (Sheetrock) interior and exterior, Industrial warehouses with porticoes for storage, roofs in simple and double height halls, Mezzanine, Metal structures in general, Commercial and residential electrical installations, industrial pipelines for fuel, water and steam, etc. maintenance (lighting, power generator, air conditioning, etc.) of the institutional segment, mainly commercial banks and private buildings.
  • We had under our supervision a comprehensive team of technicians from different areas with which we provided these services. Over 10 years we were in charge of the installation of the ATM network of banking institutions, providing electrical, air conditioning and location infrastructure to each and every one of the 497 locations outside offices nationwide in the Dominican Republic.
  • Creation of the multifunctional technical team in the areas of electricity, air conditioning, ironwork and data network: (4 mobile units with 2 AC and electricity technicians each, 1 data network unit and 1 ironwork unit), acquisition of tools and training for technicians and support team (dispatcher, fleet control, etc.).
