I was a caregiver for my mother for three years. She had Parkinson’s and dementia. I did everything for her. I cooked, cleaned, gave medicine, eventually had to care for her while she was not able to do things such as bathe or go to the restroom. She passed away in July 2023. I moved back to Mississippi.

I was a cashier at Home Depot. My duties included, helping customers, cashing out customers, selling credit cards. I was cashier of the month five times in a year and a half. I only left that job because I had to move to Texas to take care of my mother.
