Evan Andersen

Conduct proactive patrol of Kirkwood Community College campus. Respond to calls for service such as lock outs, jump starts, first aid/medical, disturbances, suspicious activity, thefts, or vandalism. Help facilitate maintenance issues when they occur. Completed monthly compliance checks of AEDs, fire extinguishers, emergency eye wash stations, emergency lights, and emergency keys.

Provided security to the Drake University community and campus. Respond to calls for service such as lock outs, jump starts, first aid/medical, disturbances, suspicious activity, thefts, vandalism, escorts, and any residence life issue needing public safety. Help facilitate maintenance issues when they occur. Assist with parking enforcement and event security on campus. Worked closely with other Drake departments and Des Moines police/fire on calls. Cross trained to work in dispatch as needed with knowledge of Omnigo logging/report software, RAVE, and S2. Also receive annual in house defensive tactics training from Des Moines Police department.

In charge of customer service, parking, security, ticket operations, ushering for a wide array of events/ venues.

Provide in person customer service while picking, staging, and running ecommerce online shopping orders.
