"Since the 1930s, students - led by elected job leaders - have worked alongside staff to help care for the wellbeing of the school. Today, students spend several hours each week working on grounds crews, giving Admission tours, serving as dinner stewards, leading campus sustainability and recycling efforts, and building community as house and floor leaders. Along the way, students become truly invested in the community and develop important skills - punctuality, self-reliance, and responsibility, among others - that serve them well in college and beyond." - www.holderness.org

As school Vice President I was head of the Job Program which meant I:

• Assigned every student at Holderness (job leader or not) to a job crew every quarter
• Accounted for attendance and reported absences to the student's advisor
• Occasionally had to have discussions with individuals that did not show up for multiple shifts in a row
• Clarified roles, responsibilities and expectations of crew leaders and members.
• Identified and resolved issues between crew members, promoting better collaboration and mutual respect.
• Resolved scheduling issues for each student who's job did not logistically work and found them another job.
• Met with job crew leaders at the end of each quarter to discuss their crew's performance, scheduling for the next quarter, and other concerns.
• Created a crew member evaluation survey for job leaders to fill out that would be sent to their advisor quarterly
• Made occasional all school announcements regarding Job Program news and updates.

• Provided a safe environment for campers by enforcing strict safety guidelines during all activities.
• Responsible for 15+ campers whereabouts from 6am-9pm
• Fostered teamwork and sportsmanship among campers through fun team-building exercises.
• Contributed to camper growth by providing constructive feedback on their performance and progress throughout the camp.
• Maintained positive relationships with parents, addressing concerns or questions about their child's experience at the camp.
• Supported fellow counselors as needed during high-pressure situations or when handling difficult behavioral issues among campers.

• Enhanced team performance by implementing tailored goalie training programs and drills.
• Improved individual player performance by providing personalized coaching and feedback based on analysis of gameplay footage.
• Mentored junior goalies, fostering their growth and development in the sport.
• Facilitated communication between goalies and defensive players, resulting in improved teamwork and on-ice cohesion.
• Assessed player strengths and weaknesses through regular evaluations, leading to targeted skill improvements.
• Organized practice sessions that emphasized specific skills, such as reflexes, positioning, and puck tracking.
• Provided ongoing support for athletes during high-pressure games or tournaments, boosting overall mental resilience.
