  • While currently working as a ticketing assistant I have learned the whole process of purchasing tickets at an athletic event. Whether the person previously purchased the ticket or needs to buy one for the game. Some of the responsibilities I would fill during ticket sales are assisting customers in purchasing tickets for events, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and providing excellent customer service. When needed I would assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, organizing ticket inventory, and maintaining accurate records. Finally, I would need to collaborate with my colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of events and efficient services.

  • While working as a marketing assistant at Stephen F Austin, I learned many different skills about how to attract fans and new people to sporting events that occurred at my school. As a Marketing Assistant, I worked in various sports including basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and volleyball.
  • Throughout my time working these events I would hand out various marketing items, assist with the video board, and work the scoreboard. While working all the football games, I would also assist the school by representing them at VIP Donor events and represent the school at luncheons including The Battle of the Piney Woods (SFA vs Sam Houston State at NRG Stadium) with Houston Texans representatives. Before the Battle of the Piney Woods game occurred, my colleagues and I attended a Houston Texans game and advertised the College event to tens of thousands of fans who attended the Texans game. On game days at SFA I would promote games by posting game day signs throughout the campus and chalking popular buildings that students would enter.
