I am excited to enter the classroom again during my Professional Development Semester. I believe that I bring a deep knowledge of the subject manner, while also displaying a passion for education as a whole.
I work in the Center for Student Involvement at WCSU. I advise several student organizations including our Programming Board and our Commuter Student Organization. I am expected to advise students on how to interact with administration, how to plan events, and more. I also play a major role in helping plan Homecoming, our yearly carnival, and Freshman Orientation.
My job was to coordinate press coverage for both professional and collegiate athletics, and managing the sports reporting team. Events I have covered on site include three Super Bowls, basketball games, golf tournaments, and more.
As a Sales Associate, it was my responsibility to make sure the store looked presentable, to operate the cash register, and to open/close the store.
CLIO is WCSU's scholarly journal for History. I was tasked with editing submissions, writing my own submission, and organizing the printing of the journal.
