Eve was born in Kingman, Arizona, and moved during her childhood to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Western Australia, and Philippines. Her father is an exploration geologist and mother a psychologist. She moved back to the USA and settled in St. Louis, Missouri, before relocating to Kansas City to attend University.
After graduating from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Eve completed her residency in Dallas and later moved to Seattle. Eventually, she returned to Kansas City, where she works as a pediatrician. Alongside her medical career, she explored oil painting and mixed media art.
About ten years ago, decreasing her work hours to part-time, she discovered pottery and quickly became immersed in ceramics.
Eve has since focused on creating abstract, hand-built sculptures that feature organic forms. She experiments by mixing clay with crushed stones, utilizing rich combinations of volcanic rocks, basalt, granite, and feldspars to create unique assemblages of stone and earth.
She is married and has three daughters.
