During this role, I was challenged with the increasing the productivity and efficiency of a large distribution center. This involved managing to productivity and monetary targets while upholding operating standards, company culture and engagement, safety initiatives and customer commitments

• Oversee function, profitability and productivity of industrial manufacturing and fulfillment center.
• Manage 90 warehouse employees, multiple managers, and supervisors across 12 functional departments.
• Direct team of four system engineers dedicated to continuous improvement and increasing efficiency across the operation.
• Design and implement employee retention multiple initiatives.
• Evaluated hiring, firing, and promotions requests.
• Played large role in multiple ERP integrations and User Acceptance Training.
• Create and manage annual CapEx/OpEx/Labor budgets.
• Ensured operation met operational and revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Spoke on behalf of and represented company to executives, investment team, and lending partners.
• Project lead for multiple warehouse relocations, moving a 80K sqft warehouse with over 100K SKUs and 900K worth of machinery to larger 140K sqft home.
• Lead designing and optimization of new warehouse layout.
• Planned, purchased, and lead installation of large manufacturing equipment (panel saws, CNC routers, rubber laminator, etc.)

In this role, I worked directly under the Senior Operations Manager and assisted in the overall productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement of all warehouse functions.

During this time, I was responsible for scheduling the manufacturing of assorted parts on a variety of industrial machines. This involved creating a myriad of home-grown models within Excel to pull in data and provide a specific sequence to convert materials to ensure customer commitments were met.

In this role, I was responsible for creating models of part in computer aided design software and translating to G-code to be used on 3-axis CNC routers.

• Produce CAD files and dimensioned schematic of specialty pallets and crates.
• Created over 200 pallet and crate schematics for vendors across the US and Canada.
• Created custom designs and schematics for specialty items vendors wish to ship.
• Using FEA software to reduce price and weight of pallets to produce client savings.
• Explained drawings to production or construction teams and adjusted as necessary.
