I am very enthused to join Erickson if given the chance due to wanting to work in avionics. I've always loved tearing things apart and being able to find why and how something is not operating correctly because there is some level of satisfaction that hits when a job was done correctly and being able to see a engine fire up that wasn't able to before. I am very proud of how I work and my work ethic because even when a job is being hard it just means it is time for personal growth.
Using knowledge gained from my experience to be able to understand and comply with the database that ford allows us to use to help diagnose and repair car related issues, and being able to use the same data base to be able to find different uncommon issues with cars to help diagnose abnormal issues. Being able to understand this manual helps to understand how to remove parts for replacement and to be able to do everything to proper specification wether it be torquing or being able to put the proper viscosity and amount of oil into a vehicle. This job position requires that I provide maintenance to customer vehicles in a professional way leaving everything clean and re-routed into the same place as if it just left the factory.
Was required to uphold customer satisfaction by keeping everything clean and tidy while performing repairs in a timely manner. Inspections were always thorough making sure that every steering and suspension component was operating correctly and had no physical flaws to them.
Some of the skills that were gained over the years would be understanding the mechanical aspects of car related components With being flat rate for so long has also taught me time management With customer satisfaction being such a big deal in the two automotive industries I've worked at has taught me to truly inspect what was done and make sure that one everything that comes out of a vehicle goes exactly the same way when it goes back into it, and whenever a mess is made to thoroughly clean it to avoid any come backs due to smells a customer can have or any come backs due to dirt or grime being left in areas it shouldn't be in, Through Ford some skills I've learned are diagnostic procedures to ensure wiring is correct wether it be load testing the circuits to make sure the wire can actually hold a load and doesn't have a pinched area, or something as simple as making sure wires are not worn through and crossing over to each other One other skill learned through Ford is being able to fully read repair manuals and understand how to fix something that my experience may not allow me to do at that time
