I am a soon to be double Gator with a B.A. in English and minor in Educational Studies. I am currently obtaining my Masters and Specialist degree in school counseling. As of right now, I am a graduate assistant through Gator Connect and work in a high-needs elementary school in Alachua County. Coming from an underserved community myself, it is my passion and goal to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Having experiences working with diverse children in different environments has allowed me to sharpen the skills I am learning as I become a school counselor.

- Gator Connect is a program out of the University of Florida College of Education. Providing school based mental health services within Alachua County Public Schools, the goal of Gator Connect is to increase access to mental health services for underserved students within high-needs schools in ACPS.
- My current duties include mentoring, providing classroom support, teaching a curriculum focused on student resilience, and providing one on one counseling.
