Faith Dierwechter

I have a little over 1 year of dog handling experience. I have practiced creating a healthy positive environment for the animals and my coworkers. At work, I have spent time observing and handling many different behaviors displayed from dogs. I am well aware of many signals dogs could be giving and how to approach the animals in many cases. Many times I was in charge of making meals and giving medication for dogs that are boarding. I frequently give health checks and practice making sure environments are up to standard in making sure the dogs are safe and happy. I am also very experienced in following thorough cleaning checklists ensuring the health and safety of the dogs are always put first.

Outside of work I volunteer at a therapeutic equine facility where I help do basic care for horses as well as helping people with disabilities achieve there dreams of learning how to ride horses. Some tasks I do involve cleaning stalls, feed and water, monitoring horses and getting them ready for lessons, turning out horses and cleaning outdoor arenas and paddocks, assisting riders in lessons and keeping horses under control in the lessons for riders safety.
