Hope Squad is a group of students nominated by their peers. It is a student-led, peer-to-peer support program that harnesses school connectedness to reduce the risk of suicide. They meet regularly with trained Advisors to talk and learn about mental health. Members are trained to note signs of distress and reach out, connecting peers to help and hope.
Member of GRIT. Encouraged girls across the State to support each other and do hard things. Worked in a team setting, providing support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. Demonstrated respect, friendliness, and willingness to help wherever needed.
A volunteer mountain bike trail clearing and maintenance crew. Cultivates community as we foster the next generation of trail stewards and advocates. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility. Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
