Accomplishments

  • Demonstrated strong leadership throughout the entire contract management lifecycle from preconstruction to final contract negotiations across various contract methods including CMR with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), CMA, Lump Sum and Design/Build contracts.
  • Established and directed a preconstruction program for a $100MM state of the art technical High school, supervising the progress of in-house project managers and estimators. The program included: collaborating with the design team to gather insights and confirm project feasibility; conducting research and collecting data on material and subcontractor availability; developing a plan to implement milestones on cost estimates; CPM scheduling; value engineering; quality control programs and clear communication protocols with owner; generating progress reports; securing necessary permits; identifying risks; and creating an outreach program for minority and trade subcontractors.
  • Identified, assessed and approved financial damage analysis on pending legal cases and claims. Developed strategic guidance for regional Vice Presidents on handling complex distressed projects. Represented the company in defending claims and disputes, acting as the primary spokesperson in front of owners and their consultants. Generated significant profit enhancements on settlements cases.
  • Directed the development of the USA Northeast Division’s estimating/preconstruction team that resulted in securing projects $250MM+ with NY SCA projects in a single year. Managed the entire bid cycle from project approval from (GO NO GO) through estimating, cost data collection, subcontractor pre-qualifications, and proposal submissions. Successfully delivered substantial savings during subcontractor buyouts, negotiations, and value engineering processes.
  • As previously the company Group Manager for Contracts and Procurement for all divisions, I spearheaded proposal-winning strategies for business development bids by conducting thorough evaluations of statistical reports and performing in-depth competitive pricing analysis. My role involved leveraging market data to optimize proposal offerings for efficiency and effectiveness of proposal submissions. I led cross-functional teams in assessing potential opportunities, identifying key differentiators, and formulating strategies to secure contract awards.
  • Created and implemented a profitable annual savings to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program.
