• I worked under the supervision of Dr. Naheed Sultana (706-249-6802). I assisted doctors and nurses in providing care to their patients. My duties included recording and updating medical histories and contact information in patient files, scheduling patient appointments, and performing standard care procedures like drawing blood, checking vitals, or collecting lab samples.

• As the CCM Coordinator, I help to manage patients' overall care by monitoring and coordinating their treatment plans, educating them about their condition, connecting them with healthcare providers, and evaluating their progress.

• I cover both clinical and administrative responsibilities. On the clinical side, I take the history of patients and present the cases to the providers, take vitals, explain treatment procedures to patients, prepare them for examination, assist the providers during diagnostic examinations, draw blood, remove sutures, take EKGs, and call the pharmacy to place prescription orders, etc. In the administrative area, I update patient records, fill out insurance forms, arrange hospital admissions, and also facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Helping with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices like walkers or wheelchairs. Providing medication reminders and ensuring proper dosage as prescribed. I worked as a physician in the Medicine, OBGYN, and Pediatrics wards. I also performed procedures like blood sample collection, lumbar puncture, ascitic fluid collection, and pleural fluid collection, etc.

I have served as a Project Research Physician for the "Burden of Pneumococcal Disease in Children in Bangladesh." This research project was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Government of Bangladesh, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation through Johns Hopkins University, USA. Responsibilities included recruiting hospital-admitted children following the study screening criteria, obtaining written consent from the legal guardian, collecting blood samples and CSF, assisting the data management team, and attending project meetings.
