Hello, my name is Favian Rafael. Throughout my years of working I have obtained many skills such as quality inspection, blueprint reading, and hand power-tool operations. With over 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-volume automotive assembly and field installation, I have the the ability to train new hires and learn anything that’s in front of me with the right instructions. I am a person who doesn't like to give up and is willing to try new things.   • Hand pick parts based on the work order and Assembly of a device called PQube 3 Rugged Wall Mount, an IP44-rated, weatherproof enclosure containing a PQube 3 power analyzer. Designed for harsh industrial environments, this unit enables monitoring of power quality and environmental parameters without needing a separate power source.
  • After assembly we had to turn device on with wires that ran 480v with ferrules on the end, plugging into the device to make sure current runs throughout the device with no defective parts. Also making sure voltages are reading correctly and apply firmware while device is turned on.
  • Troubleshooting when necessary, occasionally parts wouldn’t work for example the uninterrupted power supply (UPS) so we had to swap out part and replace it with a new one
  • Used Excel Sheets everyday for data. We had to serialize every device and parts inside of it and make sure it’s grouped together. Or when we had to troubleshoot, we had to log it in the Excel sheet and explain what happened and how I fixed it
  • Occasionally helped shipping department by Packaging, labeling, and prepare products for shipping, or supporting inventory control and related logistics when there was downtime.

  • Forklift Certified, I was driving a forklift every other day, sometimes everyday. It was a station where you’re feeding the lines with a dolly of colored bumpers and you would have to switch them out every hour or so.
  • Tugger/flatbed Certified, for this station you would have a little flatbed car and basically you would have to drive to the paint department and bring colored parts to our department and feed the line with parts. We would also have to count and input the number of parts to a computer and update that count every hour or so.
  • Over 30+ stations in our department and I managed to learn every single one of them with no problem including the other department across from the one I was at.
  • Learned how to Quality Inspect and have attention to detail. Tesla was very strict on Paint Quality and I had to make sure nothing bad was getting sent out.
  • Communicating with my supervisor and other Team Leads about any problems, updates, or tasks that would come up during work with Waki-Talkie
  • Help employees out with any problem that comes up, for example a machine might stop working for some reason and they don't know what to do so they call me and I observe what’s going on and quickly find a solution since I'm very familiar with the machines.
  • Communicated with other departments such as the Paint Department, Body in White and General Assembly Lines for any issues or solutions that might come up
  • Mentored and guided employees to foster proper completion of assigned duties.
