Xinxin Zhang

I tutor English, Science, and Math at BVMS, where I went for middle school myself. The students there are mainly 6th and 7th graders needing help with their homework, or just preparing for their upcoming exams.

As a current member of my high school's Science Olympiad team, I make sure to do my part well by studying and communicating with my teammates for our events, and be prepared when competition comes. I usually have four to five events, depending on how my teacher assigns them, so I have a number of teammates that I will have to communicate with to make a good schedule that works for all of us in order to succeed.

I served as the President of ALLY, Temecula branch. I led my team in establishing several events including current college students talking about tips for high school students. I communicated with my teammates every step of the way, making sure everyone can attend the events, and I follow up with my teammates often to schedule work hours where we get on Zoom and work on our upcoming events.
