- The most relevant skills which directly relate to the desired position are as follows: As an acting Property Manager/Assistant Manager, I frequently performed similar tasks as a Mortgage Loan Processor. This includes, working an applicant file by verifying all the information that is relevant to the applicants' desired lease.
- Proceeding on each file, with urgency, to provide correct and complete information in a timely manner according to company policy and adhering to all fair housing guidelines.
- Rental History: In order to complete an application, two consecutive years of rental history are required. I contacted the current/previous landlords to acquire a detailed rental verification. If the applicant stated that they owned a home, I researched to verify ownership of said property.
- Proof of income: I seek verifiable sources for the stated income on the application.
- During the application process I communicated effectively with a genuine and respectful attitude to guide the applicants through the process and finally to the approval or denial status.
- Communicated with specific persons who participated in completing or had the final decision to approve/deny the application.
- I recorded notes, as prescribed by pokicy, in the electronic file of our company system.
- In the occasional case of a denied application, I respectfully and competently communicated the necessary conclusions and steps.
- Once the official denial letter was delivered, I then closed the account and proceeded with appropriate steps per policy.
- In most cases, once I delivered a final approval for a lease at our community, I then communicated all next steps that were required to receive the keys to their new address on the date of their lease.
