I began training in kickboxing at the age of 16. Upon graduating high school, I made the decision to pursue a professional boxing career. To support this ambition, I secured part-time employment at a restaurant while transitioning to a dedicated boxing gym, ensuring I was immersed in an environment that would allow me to invest the necessary time and focus into my development. I maintained this discipline routine for more than three years.
My objective was to relocate to Tampa, Florida, once I achieved specific. physical benchmarks: completing a three-mile run in under 13 minutes, performing 200 push-ups without stopping and 50 pull-ups. By the summer of 2024, I met these goals and moved to Tampa, where I began training under the guidance of my Puerto Rican coach. My focus remained on refining technical skills while continuing to strengthen physical endurance.
To support myself financially, I worked as a weekend appointment setter door to door for a solar company. I established a clear target of earning a minimum of $600 per week ($2,800 monthly) and created a structured budget covering essential living expenses, including food, transportation, and basic necessities. During this period, I lived at the gym at virtually no cost, reflecting my full commitment to prioritizing long-term goals over short-term comfort.
In July 2025, while preparing for my first competitive bout, I sustained a meniscus tear two weeks prior to the event and was unable to compete. The subsequent six months were dedicated to post-surgical recovery. By January 2026, I had resumed training at full intensity. On July 4, 2026, I was involved in a car accident with my father that resulted in a fractured humerus, requiring surgery and ongoing rehabilitation. Following thorough discussions with my father and coaches regarding the severity of my injuries, we reached the mutual decision that professional boxing would not be a priority for the next two years.
Over the past two months, I have carefully evaluated my professional options and concluded that I want to build a career in sales, with a particular emphasis on developing expertise in professional communication thought diligent self education and continuous on-the-job practice. I share this background to provide insight into the level of discipline, resilience, and goal-oriented focus I consistently apply. Treating athletic training as a professional instilled in me core principle that translate directly to a professional setting: punctuality, accountability, consistent execution, the ability to perform under high pressure, constant self-confidence, feedback on performance, respect for experienced guidance, and the understanding that sustained effort produces results.
While I do not have the traditional experience typically required for a sales or customer service role, I offer a strong foundation of work ethic and coachability. If you are seeking a candidate who can be trained to execute responsabilities to exact standards, who consistenly goes beyond basic expectations, and who approaches the success of the organization with genuine ownership, I believe I am well-suited for the opportunity. I would welcome the chance to discuss how I can contribute during an interview.

P.S. I am delivering my resume only after conducting thorough research on your organization and determining that its values and operational approach align with the professional environment I am seeking. I want to join an ambitious sales team with clear, goal-oriented targets to conquer. I am ready to bring my strong work ethic, learn from those with greater experience, continuously look for ways to contribute, and consistently deliver results.
Dear hiring department I look forward to the possibility of speaking with you.
Sincerely, Felipe Santana
When homeowners expressed significant dissatisfaction with their current solar systems, I documented their circumstances in a structured report, collected accurate contact information, and coordinated appointments with the sales team's closers.
Compensation was strictly performance-based and included:
-$25 per qualified warm lead
-An additional $8 for each lead that attended the scheduled appointment
-A commission percentage on successful sales closed by the closer
I managed a consistent weekend schedule of Saturday from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. My personal performance targets required the completion of a minimum of 24 qualified reports each weekend.
