Some of my responsibilities working as a Cashier for Fresco y Mas are:

• Provide continuous attention to customer needs. Greet, assist and thank about 200 customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Inform customers of specials and promotions as requested by company or store management.
• Record sales using the right scanning system. Operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently to recognize all forms of tender and provide correct change when needed.
• Stock front-end products; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain the lowest supply cost.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement, or any action that is illegal or against company policy.

This has given me the opportunity to develop great communication skills, financial learning, and how the practice of compassion can change a situation with a rude customer. Provide excellent customer service efficiency and experience for new customers and old customers to continue making their purchases at Fresco y Mas.

My responsibilities working as a MET (Merchandising Execution Team) for The Home Depot were:
-Using a Smart Phone tool to complete the general service of the store making sure products were fully packed, non-damaged, and in the right place.
-Work in a team to complete projects.
-Reporting damaged and out-of-place products to the shift supervisor or manager.
-Making sure vendor's products were safe and packed.
-Recycling paper boxes, putting plastics and trash where they belonged.
-Completing monthly educational videos and tasks to be updated about our department.
- Able to lift at times more than 25lb
-When working in-store hours I also made sure to assist all upcoming customers when they asked for help or guidance until the store closed hours.

My responsibilities working as a Pier Agent for SMS International Shore Operations were:

• Worked along with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to ensure that about 3,000 passengers had a great travel experience and customer service.
• Greeting passengers and helping them around the cruise terminal.
• Providing and assisting passengers with a health form to fill out in their preferred language.
• Check-in passengers with a system tool with the cruise line making sure they had the right documents to travel with.
• Taking ID pictures making sure they belonged to the correct person as in the system.
• Handling different methods of payments with credit cards and making sure their information was secured.
• Directing passengers to their next step in the terminal to ensure they knew where to go and be in the right place.
