I am a motivated and detail oriented candidate with a strong foundation in engineering related coursework, including calculus, physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science at Santa Rosa Junior College. Through my education, I have developed skills in technical problem solving, calculations, interpreting technical information, and using AutoCAD. I am also proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets. My experience as a QuickLube technician has strengthened my mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work safely and efficiently in a hands on environment. I am eager to apply my technical education and practical experience as an Engineering Assistant while continuing to develop my engineering and professional skills.
My experience as a QuickLube technician has provided me with hands on mechanical, troubleshooting, inspection, and customer service experience. I regularly followed established procedures and specifications, performed measurements and inspections, used tools and equipment, maintained service records, and identified mechanical issues. This experience strengthened my attention to detail, ability to analyze problems, work safely, and complete tasks accurately under time constraints. I also developed the ability to communicate technical information clearly and work effectively as part of a team. I believe these skills provide a strong foundation for transitioning into an Engineering Assistant role and applying the engineering related coursework I have completed at Santa Rosa Junior College.
