As an ED technician, I assist in Emergency Medical Services under the direct supervision of Emergency room nurses and Physicians.

• Completed a specialized course of instruction, including medical and surgical procedures in a hospital setting, at the Naval Hospital Corps School
• Assisted physicians and nurses in providing patient care in a variety of settings, including emergency rooms, operating rooms, and intensive care units

• Maintained a high level of accuracy in entering patient data and maintaining medical records
• Assisted in medical laboratory procedures, including specimen collection, preparation, and testing
• Performed basic health assessments and triage of patients in emergency and urgent care settings

• Monitored patients for changes in condition and reported any significant changes to the physician
• Obtained and maintained current certifications in CPR, BLS, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
