Was employed at Dominoes Pizza during High school, then after graduation worked as a shipper in a warehouse at Quanta Manufacturing gaining a greater understanding of responsibility, discipline, drive, and precision. • Entrepreneurship -Gained insight into understanding the steps of developing a new business through planning, marketing, financing, and managing -Earned high passing remarks in college-tailored course, articulated by Mission College for college units (A-G approved)
• AP psychology -Learned the basic principles of human growth and development and the functions of the different functions and parts of the brain work on the body. -Multiple perspectives on theories exploring human wants and emotions and ways to read how humans work on an evolutionary, psychological, humanistic, behavioral, cognitive, biological, and social-cultural levels
• Chicano Culture & History -Expands on knowledge revolving around Latino People, but more specifically in the U.S as immigrants from Hispanic nations migrated to the U.S. and instilled their people and rich culture into new land making it their home.
• AP Government & Economics -American Government intricacies and history of its uses and works with a focus on how the three judicial, legislative, and executive branch work with and against each other in making American Policies -The way the American government works slides in with the American Economy and how recessions begin, how money moves, and ways that government tries to control money flow and ways banks function.
• AP English Language & Composition -Learned the details and formatting structures to creating well thought out essays with correct and thorough sentence structure, punctuation, and creative use of vocabulary -Types of Essays mastered include analytical, argumentative, and narrative essays with proper structure of the introduction, body, and conclusion
