• Correlating with all internal and external municipalities to obtain one outcome to serve gas to all customers with safety being the number one priority.
• Undergo continuous training to adapt to new company policies and properly apply them to everyday job tasks.
• Work well with multiple leads along with multiple different supervisors outside of my district at my own request to learn and familiarize myself with all types of jobs and cities to gain both experience and good rapport with all.
• Write, read, understand and apply Gas Handling for constructions of our gas facilities.
• Sketch, read, understand and apply Construction Sketches for construction of our gas facilities.
• Communication through email, phone calls with internal company, personnel, along with external customers explaining company policy we need to follow to serve gas and follow safety procedure to do our assigned job.
• Municipality awareness due to different regulations given by each city/town to abide by rules and regulations given.
• City moratorium awareness to avoid spending more on a job for the Gas Companies expense
• Gather existing substructure information to follow company policy and determine the placement of our gas facilities.
• Correlate with Logistics that proper material procurement is available for each job to ensure completion in a timely manner within the compliance date.
• As a Planner, complete each Prerequisite task given to me, specific to each job notification, to move forward to construction.
• Extreme awareness in California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) 9.55 to ensure required safety and notifications given by the State of California for schools and hospitals within 500’ of the job site when excavations are performed.
• Verify proper documentation is provided when steel materials, fittings, and mains are necessary for the assigned job, and meet regulations (proper Line Seasoning and DDS) given by the Company.
• Work with multiple different Gas Company contractors to fulfill Gas Company jobs and maintain a good relationship with each to continue exceptional public relations.

· Monitor and maintain quality control throughout gas pipeline installation, ensuring proper pressure testing, leak detection, and adherence to specifications.

· Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to provide updates and address project requirements specific to gas utilities.

· Conduct site assessments to identify potential hazards, such as underground obstructions or environmental challenges, before initiating gas utility construction activities.

· Manage inventory and procurement of gas utility materials, tools, and equipment, such as pipes, valves, regulators, and fittings, to prevent project delays.

· Document and report daily progress, incidents, and any changes to project scope or schedules, focusing on gas utility metrics and compliance.

· Resolve conflicts or technical issues on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to gas utility installation and maintenance timelines.
