• travels to patient homes, clinics, or workplaces to perform blood draws and specimen collections, operating as a self-employed professional. Key responsibilities include patient verification, sample collection/labeling, maintaining sterile equipment, transporting specimens, managing schedules, and adhering strictly to safety regulations.
• Specimen Collection: Collecting blood (venipuncture, finger sticks) and other samples (urine, nasal swabs) according to laboratory requirements.
• Patient Interaction: Verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate care, notes
• Sample Management: Labeling specimens accurately, properly storing them (e.g., centrifuging), and maintaining specimen integrity during transport.

Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including: bathing/skin care (I & II), grooming, and eating. Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly. Obtain vital signs, including: height, weight, blood glucose levels, and I&O

collection of blood and other samples for the purpose of analyzing them for disease and other issues( phlebotomy)
