I am a student and NJROTC Cadet at Allen D. Nease High School, and I am going into my senior year after this summer. My biggest passion is film, and I spend a large amount of my free time either writing, creating, or analyzing films in order to become as knowledgeable as I can on the subject. I have loved film since I was four years old, and my goal is to attend Smith College and earn my master’s in film studies there. I am also passionate about animals and baking, and I am planning on combining the two in August to raise money for an organization that saves animals from kill shelters and an organization that works with retired military, police, and fire dogs with PTSD. I also love to read and write stories, study nuclear and atomic physics and philosophy, watch and draw cartoons, play the guitar, surf, and skateboard. I was the head of my middle school’s Odyssey of the Mind team in 7th grade, during which we won second place in our county and fourth for our state. This summer I attended Florida Girls State at FSU and served as the Communications Director of the House of Representatives. I would be honored to receive letters of recommendation from my wonderful teachers, and I would appreciate any positive points about my performance as a student that could show colleges how qualified I am. I will also be visiting Smith this September and sit in on a lecture by the physics professor (who personally invited me to attend) in his lab regarding nuclear and atomic physics. Thank you for considering me for a recommendation.
Kindly,
