A high school student with an interest in public health research and advocacy, inspired by my own experiences as I qualitatively observed the gaps within community engagement and mental health resources. By developing new initiatives and opportunities to highlight youth voice, passion, and unity in helping the community, I am fulfilling my passion to develop advocacy and policies to address disparities that reside within our world.

1 Month- Selected 1 of 20 students out of 260 applicants to conduct research on cancer molecular subtypes, with a focus on underserved areas in Washington
- Used computational and statistical tools to analyze disparities within communities in Washington to highlight solutions for equal access to cancer care
Board Member
1 Year 2 Months- Presented and advocated for equitable funding on prevention programs across Washington to Washington Representatives/Senators
- Created/Coordinated student led- initiatives to inform on the importance of youth advocacy within mental health for all ages district-wide, presenting to almost 1200 students and adults
- Selected and awarded the Community Youth Leadership Award by the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce for continuing passion and leadership through community events throughout Washington
