I am currently driving truck in the off season and employ with CALFIRE seasonally with 6th seasons of fire and have college and formal training as an firefighter/EMT. Also, I have 8 years of varied experience with commercial driving with over 700,000 driven safely career miles, with zero accidents.

Line setter/NREMT, radio proficient, medical bag, 10 behind, keep an eye on, communicate with crew and saws.
Respond to any local IA, state fires, or medical with crews.
Use maps, compass, gps apps, sling weather, create reports.

Take care of daily in camp duties and motor pool.
Pick up and deliver freight to and from customer locations and in good order.
Communicate and maintain customer relations. Collect checks, customer sign bills of lading and scan for records.

Read manifests weights, check for hazmat, placard if needed and scale the load.

Drive CDL Class A, B and C vehicles for delivery. Read manifest product, weights, amounts and check hazmat.

Will calls, and use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet Jacks, and reach Trucks.

Wildland fire: tree or brush clearing using hand tools and chainsaws, to cut fire line and lay hose.
Safety training and daily briefings on situational awareness in extreme weather environments.

Rotation up to 21 days each work cycle.
Drive large semi with attached 53 ft. refrigerated trailers. Map reading, fuel, mile, and hour calculations.
Long haul driver with timelines and deadlines, plan routes cross country on 70 hr. a week schedule. 34 Reset.
Maintain electronic/paper DOT driver logs.
Work in variable weather conditions including winter road conditions. Use of tire chains.
Communication with crews and air craft via radio and hand signals. Face to face. Take care of pilots and crews.
Fire weather watch, study fire, hazmat and follow the chain of command. Learn fire logistics.
Park and manage tankers and air attacks: S2, P2V, BAE, C-130, RJ86, SEATs, OV-10 along with lead and recon planes.
Maintenance on airbase, pumps, irrigation and equipment.
Go to college as a fire student.
Inspected machinery to ensure proper functioning before use. Use maintenance truck to fill fluids, fuel, oil, grease. Inspect cutting blades
Trained about 50 hrs. (One week) hours to drive massive machinery, 14' swathers, wide field rakes, and large balers for harvesting Alfalfa.
Work about 60 hrs. a week cutting fields. raking and baling.
