Current Projects

I have been awarded a presidential fellowship ($10,000) by University of Wyoming and $5000 in addition that I’m using to conduct multiple research experiments. My current research focuses on, (1) to study the effect of supplemental far-red light on strawberry flowering under lower temperature. (2) to optimize light spectrums for strawberry production under vertically growing system. (3) to determine the effects of far-red light on flowering in different growth stages of strawberry. (4) to understand the response of strawberries to reflected far-red lights from canopies of different surrounding species (5) to optimize blue and light intensity (PPFD) for strawberry plant production.
