I graduated from Cornerstone Preparatory Academy with a 3.84 GPA, where I developed a strong academic foundation. Currently, I am attending Samford University, pursuing a degree in Interior Design. I am excited to further my education in this field by combining my passion for design with the skills and knowledge I am acquiring through my coursework.
As part of my school’s Legacy Impact project, I partnered with Bartow Family Resources to create and donate care baskets for mothers with newborns in need. My responsibilities included organizing and coordinating donations, assembling the baskets with essential items, and ensuring each package was thoughtfully prepared to support the mothers during their transition. This experience allowed me to develop strong collaboration, organization, and community outreach skills, while making a meaningful contribution to families in my local community.
I nannied for two young children during the summers of 2022 and 2023, providing attentive care while planning age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and creativity. Additionally, I babysat steadily for a family for a year and a half, offering consistent care and maintaining clear communication with the parents. In both roles, I helped create a positive, nurturing environment while also assisting with light household tasks as needed. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, time management, multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the needs of both children and families in a variety of situations
During high school, I contributed to the worship ministry by assisting in the setup and coordination of events to ensure smooth and efficient operations. I was responsible for preparing the venue, managing materials, and ensuring that all technical and logistical aspects were in place for each service. Additionally, I worked closely with the worship team and other volunteers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, helping to create a welcoming and organized environment. Through this role, I developed strong organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while gaining valuable experience in event coordination and managing behind-the-scenes operations.
In high school, I took the initiative to start a Bible study group for a group of girls, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for spiritual growth and community. As the leader, I was responsible for organizing weekly meetings, selecting study materials, and guiding discussions on various biblical themes.Through this leadership role, I developed strong skills in communication, group facilitation, and mentorship, while also gaining experience in planning, public speaking, and creating a positive, engaging environment for others to learn and grow.
I coached a Little League soccer team, where I was responsible for developing and implementing practice plans, teaching fundamental skills, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among young players. I worked to create a positive, supportive environment, encouraging players to build their confidence while focusing on their physical and technical development. My role also included coordinating team activities, communicating with parents, and ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere during practices and games. Through this experience, I developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning how to effectively engage and motivate young athletes.
