Summary
I’m currently 25 years old and a proud alumnus from The University of Texas at Arlington as a construction management/engineering major. Construction has been a part of my life since my high school summers at the age of 16 when my father introduced me to carpentry and concrete. Facing adversity and going thru hardships in the field influenced me to strive for an education and a career in the construction industry. Maintaining a full-time job as a foreman while going to college allowed me gain knowledge of the “real world” construction environment that I simply could not have gained through the books. I was given my first taste of the corporate environment at The Beck Group as a VDC engineer intern where I gained skills using Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD to perform the coordination process of various projects. After this great summer experience with Beck, I was rehired by Trinity Wall Systems as a project manager and estimator. I have gained appropiate skills as a Project manager using the Plexxis database and have developed bidding experience in the drywall, framing and “specialty” scope using OST Takeoff and QuickBid. My mission is to continue expanding my knowledge in the construction world!
