  • This would include conducting internal and external perimeter patrols throughout assigned facility

  • Respond to critical security incidents and apply standard operating procedures designed to minimize loss of life and damage to property
  • This included using hand held radio to dispatch emergency services and assist in first aid and life saving techniques, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) or use of an Automated External Defibrillator(A.E.D.) Making sure all visitors, employees and personnel were aware of the rules and regulations and that they were abiding by them
  • Protective Security Officers (PSO) implemented protective counter-measures by maintaining a highly visible presence in and around the facility
  • Monitoring multiple vehicle and personnel entries with the use of security systems
  • The systems that were used included; hand held metal detector, walk through magnetometer, x-ray machine, under vehicle carriage inspection device, traffic barriers and other automated security systems to include CCTV.

JumpMaster

  • As a member of the Battalions Jump Master team I was one of the few expert paratroopers who trained and taught approximately 200 junior paratroopers on the proper techniques the Army uses to successfully jump out of airplanes
  • I was directly responsible for transforming new soldiers into competent paratroopers
  • My responsibilities included training personnel in the proper attaching, jumping, and releasing of combat and individual equipment, Safety procedures in and off the aircraft, proper rigging and dawning of the parachute harness
  • Additionally, I developed a training guide and powerpoint presentation that allowed paratroopers to become familiar with airborne operational techniques to include; day and night combat equipment jumps, parachute safety in the air, deployment of the main parachute and the safety parachute, proper parachute control, airplane procedures and proper landing techniques
  • As a Jump Master I ensured that the aircraft was in working condition and serviceable prior to the jump
  • The inspection included checking the jump platform, wind deflector, the ramp, lights, seats, belts and the anchor line cable
  • During my time as a Battalion Jump Master I acted as the Primary Jump Master on several operations and achieved the Senior parachutist badge.

  • Non-Commissioned Officer: I served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Ranger Battalion
  • I completed a total of 5 years of service with 4 combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror
  • I successfully completed and finished top 5% of Ranger Assessment and Selection Program(RASP)
  • While assigned as a team leader I directed complex objectives and lead high performance teams to advance key initiatives and forcible entry operations
  • During my deployments I was tasked with conducting battlefield interrogation and tactical questioning in order to confirm or deny the presence of the targeted individual while on target
  • Due to my extensive knowledge of the target set I became an integral part of the find, fix, finish, exploit and analyze targeting process and facilitated the kill/capture of Taliban Senior Leadership, Al-Qaeda Senior leadership, Haqqani Senior Leadership and any other Terrorist organizations operating within our Area of Operations
  • As the battle space became more dynamic I was responsible for working directly with multiple agencies and team members to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse, and interpret intelligence from multiple sources to provide current and finished intelligence for intelligence products
  • I attended a course that trained me in sensitive site exploitation (SSE) and the collection of incriminating materials/ evidence that was used to prosecute targeted individuals
  • After successful completion of this course, I led the effort to instruct all incoming personnel in the field of sensitive site exploitation
  • My efforts successfully reduced the time spent on target and streamlined Direct action raids.

Battalion All-Source intelligence Analyst

75th Ranger Regiment

  • As the battalions senior intelligence sergeant I supervised the collection and the processes of proper intelligence dissemination ensuring our tactics, techniques and procedures were not compromised and following proper protocol
  • I oversaw plans that were suggested for force protection, I conducted threat vulnerability assessments of enemy and friendly facilities located in and around our base both during deployment and in garrison
  • During the training cycle, I coordinated travel to various intelligence agencies to include DIA, CIA, FBI for the purposes of proper training in various digital intelligence systems, biometrics, forensics and digital media exploitation programs
  • As the battlefield became less conventional and more unconventional I implemented new techniques in intelligence collection and processing during unilateral, combined, coalition, joint, interagency, and multi-national operations
  • I was assigned as the liaison and key interlocutor to our foreign counterparts
  • While in a supervisory role to our indigenous counterparts and allied personnel I opened up lines communication between various task force groups
  • This allowed for the collection, dissemination and processing of intelligence information to be shared throughout the battlefield.
