I am currently a nurse manager for an air and ground critical care transport service at North Mississippi Medical Center. CareFlight is one of the longest operating aeromedical service in Mississippi. I began my career as an ER nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center, a busy and fast paced Level II trauma center. Over the years I gained experience as a travel nurse before transitioning my career to flight nursing and critical care transport. Over this period of time I was the recipients of the 'Nurse Mentor' Award and Jim Spruiell Leadership Award. I received nomination for Nurse of the Year within the NMMC organization. I am very supportive for continuing education in emergency medicine and hold 5 of BCEN's certifications: CEN, CFRN, CPEN, CTRN, TCRN. I am very passionate about Emergency Medicine. My philosophy for my department is 'Individual success is a reflection of strong teamwork.'
