Lead multiple teams of technicians for several projects including: The Black Hawk repair program, CH-47 modifications, Chinook Simulators, Black Hawk hoist project,and the DELTA to FOX conversion Demodification and Restructural program of the OH-58 Kiowa.
· Obtained technical inspector reviews for completion of blade assessments for damages and repairs as needed.
· Ensured blades were sanded, repaired and painted as required and repackaged the completed blades with the proper paperwork for shipment.
· Completed Installation, ring outs, power checks and operational checks of the FIFTH SENSOR Wiring from schematics.
· Disassembled and reassembled Chinook simulators and traveled to various locations for Military events.
· Obtained work from sheet metal and electrical crews to obtain tasks necessary to support the new hoist project.
· Confirmed all steps were completed in accordance with instructions and all documentation was complete per GOP/SOP's
· Performed operational checks and obtained all signatures of completed projects.
· DELTA to FOX conversion Demodification and Restructural program of the OH-58 Kiowa
· This entailed 100% removal of aircraft wiring! The nose and windscreen of the aircraft was reworked, the rotor head was modified, the landing skids were replaced and the deck of the motor was structurally modified
· The instrument and seat crash panels were modified
· Relocated the FLIR System on the rotor head
· Built all new wiring harnesses for every system! Worked closely with engineers to complete ATP's and flight testing to complete this project.
· Rerouted existing harnesses
· Manufactured new harnesses and installed on aircraft to include build, installation, ring out of wire harnesses and power/operational checks.
· Rerouted existing harnesses wiring terminations
· Installation of new harnesses and equipment with testing of new systems to ensure proper functionality.
