• Adhere to company rules and regulations and make safety a priority at all times.
• Perform various functions within the yard, support site operations teams, internal transportation field teams, and external carriers, as needed, to ensure all trailers arrive and depart on time with zero defects and to maintain workflow for buildings.
• Operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on non-public roads or in yard to move trailers to/from dock and parking locations.
• Operate CMVs on public roads as required while staying on predetermined routes and using approved equipment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and DOT regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, trailer designations, violation and incident reporting requirements, break periods, etc.).
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports on equipment and notify managers of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Follow hostler and delivery schedules, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, adhere to yard safety policies, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions.

• Trained and highly efficient in pick, stow, divert, and induct.
• Responsible for tracking incoming volume and overseeing site's daily volume average Monitor the progress of scheduled shipments, and inform shift leads of any schedule changes.
• Check line-hauls in/out physically and virtually.
• TDR (Trailer Dock Release) trailers for safe loading and unloading.
• Inspection of shipments for safety and quality infractions.
• Quality check routes to ensure loads contain correct packages.
• Check in fleet drivers, assist in loading vans, directing traffic, and guarantee a safe departure.
• Maintain functionality of Avery scanners before, during, and after the shift, ensuring consistent productivity throughout shift.
• Lead dock operations, overseeing the induction of site's average volume of packages daily for Cycle 1.
• Track hourly induct rates to ensure volume goals are met.
• Using metrics from Station Command Center, monitor induct/sort rates to maintain balance and limit the amount of packages “at station.” Organize dock based on operational needs, assign tasks, and assist associates
• Maintain and insure Yard safety and procedures.
