I am currently employed as a sales subcontractor for T&J Construction. Here are a few things about the job I do.

• I handle my own sales and contracting for my own jobs, from start to finish.
• Handling insurance claims for damaged interiors and exteriors on behalf of the homeowner.
• Meeting insurance adjusters at the damaged location, there for the homeowner's peace of mind that damage won't be missed.
• Handling supplements, estimates, to get correct pricing from insurance.
• Helping homeowners determine the new products we are going to put on the home.
• Retail estimates and negotiations (non-insurance claims).
• Kept clients informed about progress status updates throughout the entire process.
• Ordering material from supplier.
• Established work, budgets and construction timelines to manage and plan projects.
• Organized client meetings to provide project updates.
• Executed 50% of tasks from the computer, remaining 50% on-site

My second job as a subcontractor was a project manager in sales for Options Exteriors.

Here are a few things this job included.

• Developed and implemented effective sales strategies to increase customer base and revenue.
• Assisted customers in selecting the most suitable roofing materials based on their needs and budget.
• Provided technical advice on roofing installation, maintenance and repair.
• Conducted regular site visits to evaluate existing roofs for potential repairs or replacement.
• Handled cost estimates from company to homeowner.
• Managed customer relations by responding promptly to inquiries, complaints and requests for information.
• Generated new business through networking, cold calling, and other methods of prospecting, like door knocking.
• Negotiated contracts with clients while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
• Resolved customer issues in a timely manner while ensuring satisfaction at all times.
• Followed up with customers after installation and repair work was completed for feedback.
• A huge goal for me in my second year was to sell a million in sales, and I sold 1.5. million!

• The company had software called AccuLynx. This is software used by contractors and suppliers to help run their businesses. This is how I would manage my sales through the company, uploading important documents from the insurance company all the way to measurements, photos, material orders, and the main point of contact with Options Exterior.

• Measured and cut flooring materials to fit the dimensions of each room.
• Installed carpet, tile, laminate, and hardwood flooring in residential and commercial settings.
• Performed minor repairs to existing floors.
• Resolved customer complaints related to flooring installations.
• Communicated effectively with clients regarding progress updates and potential issues.
• Maintained inventory list of items used on job sites to provide reordering details.
