In the acid plant I was responsible for controlling plant temperatures, pressures for the creation of sulphuric acid, by burning of molten sulphur. Distribution of acid to numerous storage tanks, monitoring a water cooling tower for purification of plant water. I also created low, medium, and high pressure steam to run a turbine generator to create power for the facility. We would be main contact for receiving molten sulphur, sulphuric acid, and caustic trucks coming into the plant.
