Acts as national magazine contributor in the firearms and personal protection arena. Develops original content for both print and digital magazines. Tasks include testing products, traveling to manufacturers for product research and development, product and lifestyle photography, video production and development. Has currently written over 1000 pieces and has been published in 30 magazines.

Provides OPSEC/CI safety training to military personnel preparing for deployment to embassy duty worldwide.

Acts as instructor of defensive tactics for civilian and military/ law enforcement officers. Responsible for teaching fundamental as well as advanced technique. Instruction includes open hand as well as use of weapon as a control device. Teaches classes for groups ranging from patrol officers to SWAT teams and military personnel. Has taught courses for over 50 LE agencies and government agencies in the US, Germany, Ireland, and Mexico.

Self-employed as professional Aikido instructor for four large schools in the Phoenix Metro area. Oversaw day-to-day business operations of the schools as well as instruction in technique and philosophy. Was responsible for over 240 students. In addition to regular teaching duties, was responsible for the development, marketing, and instruction of quarterly self-defense classes for the cities of Glendale and Chandler, Arizona.
