ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Box Truck Driver.
  
Essential Duties:
  
Transport finished goods, work-in-process & raw materials to and from manufacturing plants, suppliers, retail and/or distribution centers.
  
Inspect truck daily to ensure vehicle is safe and mechanically operational and address noted issues to Management.
  
Follow/plan routes to meet delivery expectations of the customer.
  
Document trip notes, issues, breaks on transportation log each shift.
  
Secure loads with straps & offer loading direction to customer for appropriate weight distribution.
  
Comply with truck driving rules & regulations (size, weight, parking, etc.), as well as ABM policies & procedures.
  
Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately.
  
Ability to maneuver self in the box area of delivery truck, around loads, to secure each pallet/cart with a strap to keep them from shifting during travel.
  
Ability to push/pull loads up and down truck ramps with the use of a hand jack.
  
Ability to obtain a chauffeur's license for this position.
  
Ability to drive in inclement weather, such as rain, snow, icy conditions.
