FUNCTIONS
Reports to the Director of Maintenance; I have the administrative control of Maintenance Base/Station personnel assigned to Burbank geographical area, provide safe and effective management and use of personnel, equipment, and resources
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership and guidance to the assigned supervisors and technicians to support their efforts to ensure accomplishment of the company objectives in safety, service excellence, operational performance, and financial management The concepts of operating discipline and individual accountability are important parts of this requirement
Works closely with appropriate station leadership to ensure that the policies and procedures used, and the staffing and equipment are available to support the station operation and achievement of service excellence, required operational performance levels and financial accountability
Performance sites visits to company and vendor locations to provide communication of company and department related events
Participates in the establishment of expense budgets and proposed capital expenditures for the assigned stations, and monitors achievement of required objectives
In lieu of station supervisor, promptly provides Maintenance Operations Control with information on mechanical status of aircraft with emphasis on changes to estimated aircraft return to services time and maintenance delays
