I went from working in one retail store to transferring to another, taking on a different role. After doing all that I could in that role, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, scoring a 93 on the ASVAB with a GT score of 120, landing a role in the Intelligence and Information Maneuver field, I went from Recruit Training in Parris Island, SC, to Marine Combat Training in Camp Geiger, NC, to Pensacola, FL where I am currently in a MAT Platoon preparing for continued education as a 1721 Defensive Cyberspace Warfare Operator.

Job overview

I enlisted in the Marine Corps in November 2023 and arrived at MCRD Parris Island in December 2023 when my career in the United States Marine Corps officially began. I graduated Recruit Training on March 1st, 2024. I have attended the following schools since enlisting:

  • Marine Corps Recruit Training 2023/12/05 - 2024/03/01
  • Marine Combat Training 2024/03/12 - 2024/04/10

Currently attached to MARDET Corry Station, MATSG-21, MAT Platoon awaiting training in JCAC


I am competent in the use of the M16A4 Service Rifle, weapons safety rules and range operations and safety. While in the Marine Corps I learned patience, teamwork, attention to detail, and basic Marine combat tactics and skills.
