  • Works with a team on the design, supply, transport to site, installation, testing and commissioning of 161kV High Voltage Switchyard at the Newmont Ahafo North Project.
  • Works with a team on the design, supply, transport to site, installation, testing and commissioning of approximately 10km of a new 34.5kV High Voltage Overhead Powerline.
  • Worked on a $15m+ design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of two 33/11kV Primary Substation (PSS) for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) through the Millenium Development Authority (MiDA) under the MCC Compact II Infrastructural Projects, at Kanda and Legon in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular safety inspections at worksites and facilities, fire drills, risk assessment updates; ensuring employees are aware of their responsibilities regarding HSE.
  • Work proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for all employees.
  • Implementing Health, Safety and Environmental best practice ensuring construction activities comply with current legislation, approved codes of practice as well as client and government guidance.

  • Worked on a $200m+ design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of two 33/11kV Power Supply & Distribution Network for the MPS Tema Port Expansion Project and Container Terminal in Tema, Ghana.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Responded to HSE complaints, escalating to the HSE manager if necessary.
  • Assisted the HSE manager with accident and incident investigations to determine the root cause, providing guidance to avoid repeat incidents.
  • Collaborated with departmental managers, supervisors and staff to provide guidance and direction regarding HSE systems and processes, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Supported the HSE manager to create and review/maintain the company’s HSE policy, procedures and documentation.
  • Completed thorough risk assessments, identifying risks and suggesting practical solutions to negate those risk.
