Engineering Internship

U.S. Mission to NATO (USNATO) – NATO Headquarters

  • Served as an Engineering Intern within USNATO and assisted Mission personnel as they balanced managing political-military ambitions and technical challenges related to Emerging Disruptive Technologies including Data Exploitation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). I supported advancement of U.S. objectives within NATO’s newly established Data and AI Review Board (DARB). This included partnering with the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) Office of the Chief Data and AI Officer to develop Responsible AI Assessments, Toolkits, and Templates for use by the NATO alliance and individual allies.
  • I briefed a senior one star-equivalent DoD senior executive on position on DARB activities, the way ahead, and potential deliverables for senior engagements including a NATO Defense Ministerial meeting. Maintained a SECRET security clearance while service in this role.
  • State Department Security Clearance
  • I received a State Department Secret Clearance, which was required to work at the internship.
  • In charge of assembling different parts for a section of the model.
