V-Soft Consulting was the third party agency that hired me on behalf of Chamberlain Group, where I worked as a part time employee. They had the third party agency provide pay roll for me but, my duties were all associated with Chamberlain group. I was part of the returns email queue, where I managed all return inquires from retail stores and LiftMaster dealers. My duties were providing customers with updates on their returns, creating returns along with return label instructions for the customer. I also created large parcel returns typically delivered from ESTES, Old Dominion Freight and XPO logistics.
I started at Chamberlain group as a customer service representative provide technical support for the Chamberlain/Liftmaster garage door openers. My duties were to assist via phone providing installation support, troubleshooting, and placing orders for customers. After a year of working in the residential garage door opener support team I applied for a new opening in the PRO LiftMaster Gate technical support. I was hired and trained as a gate opener technician, the training including working hands on with gate openers and learning how to install and troubleshoot. This department helped professional gate technicians exclusively, since customers are to contact a professional to fix a gate as the task can be dangerous for an unexperienced person.
I started at the Optum Rx shortly after finishing college. I was a Pharmacy Technician for the first year and was promoted to supervisor afterwards. The pharmacy was a data entry pharmacy for Optum - a large healthcare company that is part of the UnitedHealth Group corporation. During my first year as a pharmacy technician I assisted medical offices whom seeked approval of prior authorizations. Once prior authorizations were approved I would allow the transaction of the medication through RXHD a prescription healthdata system used to keep track on patients medications filled at any pharmacy. Once promoted to supervisor I was trained to help technicians with dosage, medication substitutions approved by Pharmacists, and insurance changes. Afterwards I was promoted to a different department which was mail order prescriptions throughout the United States. My duties were to process 120-350 prescriptions per day, I would process all the customers information, type out the dosage, and send the order to the Pharmacist for authorization. Once approved, the prescription was received at the distribution center for delivery. I was also a supervisor in this department until my last day, when I decided to change career paths.
