When I was first hired, I was initially positioned to work as a cashier. Shortly after, I started working in the Cafe department where I have remained since then. But I have worked in other departments including market and helping out at Starbucks though I am not a trained barista by any means. Working in cafe was my first time working in the food industry. I learned how to take proper temperatures, placing orders and keeping ingredients well stocked, fill out paperwork relating to such and making sure everything is in order, clean, up to date and following within the guidelines of health codes and safety.
