Gara is a performance artist and writer living in NYC. He moved to NYC from Iowa in 2015 where he was christened into the NYC stand up scene. After a few years of exploring his voice in the comedy world, Gara added his 16 years of dance training to his stand up set. He has been elegantly straddling the NYC downtown theater world and the comedy scene for 5 years now and has performed on some of NYC’s most iconic stages like La MaMa, MoMa PS1, The Bell House, Stand Up New York, ARS NOVA and many more. He loves his dog and dancing in his kitchen.
