Worked as the Master of several different classes of Platform Support Vessels, (PSV's).

Overall responsible for the everyday operation of the vessel and supervision of the crew.

Vessel maintenance was one of the primary responsibilities. Key to that effort was ensuring proper inventories of needed consumable supplies and spare parts on the vessel for use when needed.

20 years as an Aviation Machinist Mate and Helicopter Rescue Swimmer.

Responsible for operational maintenance activities and flying as a rescue aircrewman in multiple helicopter platforms.
