Founded and Capitalized a Hedge Fund Incubator

I was in charge of three key projects throughout the summer:

• Set up parts inventory database so that the company could better control related spend across all locations.
• Maintained Daily Direction Setting (Key Metrics Report), for use by company Operators and Managers.
• Preformed Cost Savings Analysis related to output waste and alternative processing equipment.

I was responsible for two primary projects during this internship with a custom yacht manufacturer/broker:

• Pricing analysis for the company CFO. The analysis was built in Excel and involved researching competitor base prices and their excluded ‘add-ons’, to allow Kadey-Krogen’s salespeople to do “apples-to-apples” comparisons with buyers. The analysis was shared with all managers to allow easy access to competitive prices of all parts.
• Migrated the company brokerage listing data from Yacht World to Yachtr. This was a time-consuming project, but the accuracy of the migration was necessary because the company CFO wanted to evaluate Yachtr as a new listing alternative.

I was responsible for two roles during this internship with this custom yacht builder:

• Worked in the lamination shop spreading resin and other chemical compounds into developing hulls, and helped position products and staged materials to support other workers.
• Supported various members of the Carpentry Team, as they manufactured the interiors of a custom 39 and 36 ft Tug. Learned how to operate a lathe and learned about the importance of how the wiring harness runs through the boats.
